Lid Acrylic Where can get glass lids for a 90 gallon wave front tank?
I have a 90 gallon tank that has the wave front design. Every now and then one of my little fish gets frisky and ends up on the floor. I run halides that will distort most acrylic lids otherwise I would cut out custom lids of my own. I do not feel comfortable cutting my own glass lids since it is not a straight cut. Anyone know a good place to order these from or have other ideas on where to get lids for this odd shaped tank?
Since each model of "wave-front" tank is a slightly different shape and size, an after-market lid is unlikely to fit yours. All 55-gallon long tanks have very nearly the same size of top, but that is not true for bowfront or wavefront tanks.
You will either have to order one for your specific model from the manufacturer of your tank (assuming that company is still in business), or get one custom-made for you from a glass shop. Look for places in your area that make, for example, custom mirrors and glass table tops.
The easiest way to order one from the manufacturer is to find a pet shop that deals with that company and have the pet shop do a special order for you. The pet shop may even be able to get a better price than you can, since it probably buys a lot of goods from the same company.

I can never tan unless i get burnt, otherwise i have to lay in the direct sun for like 5 days. Anyone know any easier way to tan? (P.S.) im not using tanning salons or anything, Anthing that makes it easier to tan in the sun?
buy some tanning oil. ive used the hawaiin tropic dark tanning oil and it works very fast! if you are outside too long, you will get SUPER burnt. i would be outside for an hour and i get burnt and tan. my legs get tanned automatically, but my stomach burns red. however, all the areas that get burnt, they turn tan in a couple days. and its about 2 or 3 shades darker than what i was before. you may want to get tanning oil that has some sun protection in it too that prevents peeling and burning. (but since you only tan when you burn, you may not want this...) a ton of tanning oils can be bought at walmart. thats where i go. and they smell good too!

Sable Brushes Make up Brushes--very strong odor!! Help?
I just shampooed a Sonia Kashuk eye shadow brush for the first time, and it now smells terrible--like cat urine. It is a natural sable brush, so I suppose that is probably where the smell came from. I was very surprised. I've been using the brush for a year but I have only washed it with makeup remover until today.
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this??
I assume that the smell will go away when it dries, but I wondered if anyone has any good suggestions.
